SPORTY?

YES! I may not look like one who enjoys sport ... but I definitely love sports!

Yes!  Since young I have participated in various competitive sport events such as bowling and swimming. Where eventually, I developed passion for bowling and have since represented my schools in various national competitions. Through out my whole journey as a athlete, there were many learning points that have built me as an individual, which is teamwork and resilience. It was from different experiences that I realized that though individual performance if important: but in a team event, a united and strong team will triumph
over a prodigy.

INTEREST?

I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!

Can’t really recall when I started to be attracted to the beauty of our mother-nature.  Just can’t resist to reach for my phone and capture the perfect moment especially when they're all so mesmerizing at the point of time when the perspective is just almost perfect.

I mean... Hey, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?~

ITE

Its my first step.

I am always an average student and can’t do well in Mathematics, a core subject to score and enroll for Diploma.
Upon receiving my “N” level result, I was surprised that I passed my Math.  It opened-up a series of courses available in ITE which my mother was not supportive initially when I expressed my interest.  It took me a few months to finally convinced her that it will be the best route for me. To me, that the best decision I had ever made.
The two years were enriching, I managed to study with a group of “si-dang” – close acquaintance, we encouraged one another through studies and have fun together.  Times passed swiftly, we continuing to meet up after graduation that further strengthen our friendship.

DESIGNER?!

Sigh. Try. YAY. Repeat

I am a hand-on person, someone who always enjoy of making and fixing things up, maybe that's why I took on D&T in secondary school.  It was a fruitful experience when I completed my final year project, a great sense of accomplishment, and Yeah! It Felt So Great!
With that, I completed my Electronic and Engineering course in ITE, at least I enjoyed working on the circuits and soldering of components.  When I attended the TP Open House, I was attracted to PID, it opens up another opportunity for me to focus on designing and building of products.
Risking my chance of surviving in TP as I can’t really draw, a high risk for design student; and furthermore with zero knowledge, it was kind of daunting for my future, but in life, I should pursue course that attracts me, even if I failed at least I tried… To me, the journey always started with disappointment, multiples rework, endless sleepless night. But they all end with plenty of laughter and a great sense of fulfillment.

Through my education journey, not many would believe I could come this far. When I first joined ITE, many have looked down on me as it was notorious for 'bad students'. When I changed my course route to Design. everyone questioned my decision and never thought I could complete the journey due to my lack of knowledge and skills.

Now that I am in Robotics Systems, many questioned my ability to survive in this course. It is true that this has been my hardest education choice and I did have thoughts of dropping. However, the encouragement and help I've recieved in this course have shown me that I am not alone and that there is always people supporting me regardless of my decision. As much as I do not want to dissappoint all those around me, I do not want to dissappoint myself.

Therefore, taking what Ive learned in PID, perseverance and remaining resilience, I refuse to give up easily. I may not do well now, everything may not have gone the way I expected, slow in progression, MURPHY'S LAW... nothing seems right... but, if you don't see it to the end, you'd never know just how far you can progress with determination.

So sometimes, you just have break yourself to pieces before you can rebuild a stronger will.

Nothing is impossible!
